Dbanj starts up new label, Def Jam Africa, and immediately signs bright star Davido to the record label. Def Jam Africa will be the African arm of Island Def Jam.

Davido will join Dbanj’s brother K-Switch on Def Jam Africa. Big move from Dbanj. One has to wonder how this will all play out with his Mercury Records UK deal and G.O.O.D Music. Anyway you slice it, it’s a good move for Dbanj.
