Controversial study says Women wearing bra 'is not needed'

According to a new French study, women could be better off without their bras. Because a huge 15-year study found wearing a bra could actually be sending your busts southwards, and does little to ease back pain.

Researchers claim that bras are little more than a 'false necessity' and there is no benefit at all in 'denying breasts gravity'. On the contrary, breasts get saggier with a bra.

Professor Rouillon, a sports scientist from the University of Franche-Comte in Besancon, eastern France, spent 15 years studying 130 women with different bust sizes.

He said: ‘The first results validate the hypothesis that the bra is not needed. Medically, physiologically, anatomically, the breast does not benefit from being deprived of gravity.’

And there's a woman who swears this study is true.
Capucine, the 28-year-old woman said she has not worn a bra for two years and she's living a happy life. She said:

'There are multiple benefits: I breathe more easily, I carry myself better, and I have less back pain.

Despite his findings, Professor Rouillon said women should not get rid of their bras. His study only involved a small number of women and the long-term effects of not wearing a bra are unknown.

Indeed, previous research has shown that women who do not wear a sports bra while exercising could be damaging their breasts.

The ligaments which support the breasts are not elastic, and can be irreversibly stretched when the breasts bounce during repetitive or high impact sports.

If i no wear bra eh........wahala go dey ooo....lol...this study no be for some naija women like me abeg, it might be applicable to The north americans and asians who have little or no boobs at all.

Thank God he explained in his study that Bra are still needed at least.....
