Chioma Ajunwa Opara, 40, was the first Nigerian to win Olympic Gold. She accomplished that feat at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
The Imo state born Chief Superintendent of Police, who joined the Nigerian police force long before winning the triple-jump gold medal, was recently made the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Meran police station in Lagos.

Congratulations o. E no easy. Other athletes should tk a que from her and realise athletics is not a life. Get one for yourselve so that when u retire, no government would do 'shakara' for u.
