Unlike the celebrity weddings witnessed in the past few months, comedian Teju Babyface had his wedding ceremonies split in two and held on different days, starting with an engagement which took place at the 10 degrees event centre in Oregun, Ikeja on Thursday, August 30, 2012, and the church wedding and reception on Saturday, September, 1, 2012 at Chapel of Christ the Light Church, Ikeja andMuson Centre in Lagos.
Celebrities spotted at the engagement ceremony include Holy Mallam, B.O.U.Q.U.I, Gbenga Adeyinka, Richard Mofe Damijo, Tade Ogidan, Muiz Banire and other dignitaries, family and friends. At the church wedding, designer Mai Atafo, and actor Kayode Peters and a few others were present at the church to witness the holy solemnization, officiated by pastor and motivational speaker, Sam Adeyemi. The reception that took place after played host to more friends and celebrities, as many who could not make the engagement and church services, compensated with their presence at the wedding.
