COMEDIAN DAUDA TONGUE LASH OGE OKOYE,FRANCIS DURU AT A FUNCTION

Top comic actor, singer and MC,Kingsley Ogbonna popularly called Dauda has paid his dues and carved a nitche for himself in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Dauda is not only one of the most celebrated comic actors in the industry, but also one of the very few who started music comedy with over four albums to his credit.

The gist here is that he has found a new style of anchoring events.Recently,at one of the biggest events held in Nollywood,Dauda who wasn's inspired to crack jokes in between his delivery, resorted to Abusive words.

Although he did not tongue lash his audience,Dauda focused attention on his colleagues and verbally abused them.He started with veteran actor Tom Njemanze and washed him down,he insisted that after Sam Loco Efe's death,Mr. Njemanze shold be the next to die as deaths in the industry should be according to age.

Immediately he discovered that people's reaction towards his comment was not impressive,he reverted his statement and said: Tom Njemanze you will never die but live long in Jesus name, amen

Subsequently,he called top actress Oge Okoye and star actor Francis Duru to assist in cutting of cake. After the exercise he nonchalantly told them Oge Okoye and Francis Duru please you people should foolishly move back to your seats.Foolish people, please foolishly move back to your seats

Although people laughed at this statement, his colleagues Mrs Okoye and Mr.Duru did not find it funny at all as they kept complaining to each other while walking towards their seats.

It was later revealed that Dauda soaked himself with alcohol before mounting the podium to anchor the event..

Nollywood Producer Dickson Iroegbu set to release gay movie

Much has been said abt Gayism and lesbianism...... it has gone so deep in our society well now, Foremost Nollywood producer and director, Dickson Iroegbu is getting ready to release his latest movie called - 'Law 58', a movie about homosexuality in Nigeria and its consequences. The movie features Kanayo O Kanayo, Clarion Chukwurah, Halima Abubakar etc and will be released next month.
Watch out for that block buster movie....
When asked why a movie about homosexuality, the producer replied:
When I saw the National Assembly debate on Gay Marriage, I thought it was prophetic because at the time, I produced the movie, we hadn't engaged ourselves constructively on how to address the issue of gay. We pretended then as if it didn't exist in our society.  Not knowing that it was gradually eating into the fabrics of the society.
So, one saw it at that time and set out to discuss it via the tube. I may sound very judgmental about it but I have no apologies whatsoever. Homosexual is an evil act that our culture and religion as Africans prohibits,  and so, speaking against it as a film maker is to re-echo what my society has been saying about the ugly practice."

"At the time, I was shooting the movie, most of my colleagues frowned at the project because it was rumour then that some of them were involved in the act. I thought it was time to take a stand, given the fact that I was once called a gay, just to discredit my personality."

"Today, I want the society to feel my purse differently, so that when the film is finally released into the market, they will be able to reconcile it with the Dickson Iroegbu they have known for several years. The world will also ascertain whether I'm a homosexual or not.

I'm a womanizer? I don't even know that I womanise" - 2face Idibia

WE DONT OFTEN GET TO CHOOSE THE PEOPLE THAT COME INTO OUR LIFE, BUT SOMETIMES WE GET AWFULLY LUCKY OR UNLUCKY??? WHAT DO YOU THINK? WELL READ THIS.

"I didn't get this from my father. My father is not a womaniser. That I know. I have never caught my father with another woman. He is very faithful to my mother. I am also not a womanizer. Yes it happens that I have more women in my life. It is the price I have to pay for being a star. I didn't plan to have more than one woman in my life. I didn't plan my life to be the way it is now but no regrets. I love my kids. Right now, I have three women in my life who have five kids for me (and expecting a 6th one) and I sincerely don't know how I'm able to cope with three women. Fela had over two dozen wives but I'm not Fela. I can never be another Fela.

I have three women but I'm saying a big NO to Fela's kind of polygamy. I don't even know what these women see me (Hmmmm..my lips are sealed). I used to look into the mirror sometimes and wonder it is that they see in me." - 2face tells E Express when they asked him about womanising and regrets.

well no matter what anyone else says, it really is the thought that counts.
the bottom line is that no person.

Subsidy protest: Slain Ademola family alleges plot to frustrate case

Subsidy protest: Slain Ademola family alleges plot to frustrate case

On January 25, 2012

LAGOS – The family of Mr. Ademola Abe, aged 26, shot dead by Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Pen-Cinema, Mr Segun Fabunmi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, has raised alarm over plot by the police authorities to frustrate the murder case. The family is demanding the immediate arraignment of the suspect DPO in court.
The corpse of Ademola, at press time, is still at the mortuary pending final decision by the family and state government on the matter.
Similarly, chairman of Ifako-Iyaiye Local Council Development Area, Mr Oloruntoba Oke, has called on the Inspector General of Police, Mr Hafiz Ringim, to directly take charge of the prosecution of the case against the senior police officer to serve as a deterrent to other overzealous police officers, who are fond of extra judicial killing.

He said: "There is no way this case can be swept under the carpet. It is not a local government issue, it is a national issue. Everybody is aware of what happened and the whole world is watching."

The family of the deceased, led by the father, Mr. Ishola Abbe, with the council boss, while addressing newsmen on the development, yesterday, at the scene of the incident, in Ogba, denied rumours that the family had sent representatives to the police hierarchy on how to settle the matter amicably, saying: "It is untrue that we sent representatives to the police. For what?  What we want is justice and the killer of our child brought to book."

He added that following the death of Ademola, the mother has been lying critically ill in the hospital, adding: "My son should not die in vain, it is not a good thing, government should take the culprit to court and let the court hand down whatever punishment is due to him. The law should take its course."

And you know it's a massive announcement when even the fact that this season's brand new cash prize of a cool USD 300 000 isn't the headline-grabbing news!
Grabbing that honor is the revelation from series producers that this season, entrants must DOUBLE-UP to compete. This means that anyone who wants to enter season 7 must partner with another person to enter as a pair!
So whether you enter with your best friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, mom, dad, brother, sister, boss, husband, wife, neighbor, hairdresser, whomever…you must just make sure that you enter as a pair.

So who will take the journey of a lifetime with you? Remember you may have to spend a long time with them in the house so choose carefully!
PLUS, in another bold change, Big Brother Africa welcomes two new countries Liberia and Sierra Leone to the Big Brother house for the first time ever, while this time round, Ethiopia bows out of the game and Mozambique will take on a new role that will be announced at a later stage.

That means that this year, if you want to enter Big Brother Africa you can do so if you and your partner are citizens from one of the following participating countries: Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Both partners must come from the same country, must be 21 years or older, must be fluent in English and must have a valid passport.

Commenting on the surprise turn of events, M-Net Africa Managing Director Biola Alabi says, "We are thrilled to be offering a huge, new, USD 300 000 prize and to include two new countries who were chosen to participate based on their ongoing interest in the series and their growing DStv audiences. And while Ethiopia won't have a housemate this year, we'll look to include them and other non-housemate countries in other ways if the opportunity arises, as we do every season. We are and have always been proudly committed to making this a truly African show. And as for Mozambique, they will be included with a housemate – but that's all we are saying at the moment!"
She goes on to say, "Of course, the really big news this season is that entrants must enter as pairs. In the past we've seen a natural and continuous cross-over between individuals and their families, their friends. So this year, we decided to include that as part of the game.
