IGP deploys ‘high-tech team’ to take over investigations for Ugo's Murder



The Inspector-General of Police, IGP M.D Abubakar, has instructed a high-powered investigation team from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja, to take-over the investigation of the murder case of Ugochukwu Ozuah.  The murder case was previously being investigated by the Lagos State Police Command.  In a press statement released on Thursday and signed by the Force PRO; Frank Mbathe IGP gave the assurance that “The Force will do everything humanly and operationally possible to ensure that the perpetrators of the crime are unmasked and eventually brought to book.”  He appealed to members of the public especially those who may have witnessed the crime, to come forward with useful information that could aid the Police in tracking the criminals.
