Lady Gaga proved to everyone just how tough she is after one of her dancers accidentally smacked her in the face with a prop pole during her New Zealand concert this weekend. The 26-year-old singer sang through the pain and a concussion, continuing the concert, to the delight of her fans.
A few days later,Lady Gaga is still hurting, but making progress.
"Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages. I feel a bit woozy but a little better everyday. Very happy to be in beautiful Australia," she tweeted on June 11.
its good to know the singer is feeling better, but it looks like that pole to the head really did some damage. After thanking her fans for their support, Gaga also tweeted a photo of herself, and showed off the nasty black eye she's developing due to the accident:
Emerging from hours of sleep. Still remiss if I should go outside, with this clonker I may be of questionable styling. twitter.com/ladygaga/statu…— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) June 12, 2012
Gaga isn't the only singer to recently get injured at a concert. Last month, Justin Bieber accidentally ran into a glass wall backstage at one of his shows in Paris and was knocked out for several seconds
