FIRST LADY PATIENCE JONATHAN WINS ‘TOURISM AMBASSADOR FOR AFRICA’ AWARD



Dame Patience Jonathan has been bestowed with a Tourism Ambassador for Africa award from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation.
The First Lady picked up the award at the 53rd meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Africa which held yesterday, June 26, 2012 in Calabar.
Jonathan was given the award in ‘recognition of her monumental commitment and support for women in tourism’.
