According to the Global Peace Index, conducted by the Research Institute of Economics & Peace. It recently released its top 10 most dangerous African countries in 2012 and Nigeria was number 6, as you can see above.
The ranking is based on countries most affected by war, terrorism, political instability, regular violence etc
