Rihanna's grandmother, Clara "Dolly" Braithwaite, has just died after battling cancer, according to Contact Music.
"Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you," Rihannah tweeted early Sunday Morning, followed by numerous photo postings of her grandmother.
Chris Brown's mother, Joyce Hawkins, also offeres her condolences to her son's ex-girlfriend via the social networking site. Rihanna responded: "@mombreezy thank you! Love u mama."
Many are speculating that the passing of her grandmother was is to blame for Rihanna's Saturday subpar performance in Sweden-- she accidentally dedicated a song to Norway after taking the stage 45 minutes late.
But since the news of Braithwaite's passing, Rihanna's fans have taken to Twitter to show their support for the grieving singer.
Chris Brown also sent out condolences to Rih during the night via Twitter saying,
